Who I’m Following:

As a process consultant and facilitator, I specialize in trust building, leadership and change management. I am passionate about helping leadership teams navigate their way through tough environments. I enjoy delivering Trusted Advisor programs and helping clients diagnose what is important, and where best to intervene, in their efforts to deepen trust-based relationships.

Based in the UK, I have an MA from Oxford and an MBA from Cranfield Business School. I have also studied with the Gestalt Center for Organization & Systems Development. I have been consulting since 1987 supporting clients across the private, public and third sectors including Shell, Nokia, Serco, Accenture, Vattenfall, IPC, Energy Saving Trust, and several UK Government Departments. I have worked for Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers), Kinsley Lord and Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson); and now work independently. I have played several senior management and client relationship management roles during this period.

My Trust Story

A few years ago I met with the HR Director of a major corporation. We had not met before. She said that she had done a recent employee engagement survey. I knew quite a bit about employee engagement so I told her a few things about what I had learned. The meeting came to an early conclusion.

As we left, I blurted out “If you would like to send me the survey, I would be happy to offer some thoughts.” I never heard from her again. My self-orientation had been too high and my ability to listen very low. I had been driven by a need to get some action going forward as sales were a little tight at the time, and I had certainly not earned the right to offer advice that would be heard. It was a painful reminder of some of the key elements of trust building.

My Services

I am a Trusted Advisor, trainer and coach. In particular, I provide Trust Coaching and train our clients on Trusted Advisor, Trust-Based Selling and the deepening of trust-based relationships.
