Marketing and Trust Communications Consultant

I am a writer, strategist, and long-time collaborator with Trusted Advisor Associates, focused on bringing clarity, structure, and humanity to the way professionals communicate. For more than fifteen years, I have helped leaders, consultants, and organizations express their ideas in ways that strengthen relationships and drive meaningful impact.

My work with Trusted Advisor Associates began when I was first introduced to the Trust Equation. The framework put words to what I had observed throughout my career: trust is the foundation of effective communication, and how we show up matters more than any script or strategy. Since then, I have partnered closely with TAA to craft content that helps professionals lower self-orientation, listen more deeply, and build trust in every interaction.

As a Doer™, I bring a steady bias toward action. I help people move ideas forward by shaping messages that are clear, grounded, and immediately useful. Whether supporting program design, thought leadership, or diagnostic tools, my goal is always the same: to translate trust concepts into practical language people can apply immediately.

Throughout my career, I have worked with executives, founders, consultants, and creative teams across a wide range of industries. In each setting, I’ve seen how communication can either accelerate or erode trust. My work is rooted in the belief that clarity and honesty are not just communication skills. They are trust-building behaviors.

My Trust Story

Early in my career, I worked with a leadership team during a project that required direct conversations about missed expectations. A senior leader asked for my honest view of what wasn’t working. I had a split-second decision to make: soften the truth to avoid discomfort or offer a candid perspective with respect and care.

I chose candor. I clearly shared the issue without blaming anyone and focused on its impact on the team’s progress. The leader paused and said, “Thank you. That’s what we needed to hear.” The tone of the room shifted. Instead of defensiveness, there was relief. Instead of silence, there was problem-solving.

That moment taught me three lessons that have defined my work ever since:

• People trust clarity more than polished answers.
• Hard truths land well when they are offered with genuine intention.
• Action builds trust when it is guided by empathy.

It reinforced something I now help others recognize: the fastest way to build trust is to show up fully and speak truthfully.

What I Do

I develop content that supports TAA’s programs, workshops, diagnostics, and client initiatives. I translate trust principles into accessible, practical language and partner with leaders and teams to clarify their message and strengthen how they communicate. I also support the design and refinement of trust-building tools and educational resources.

I’m most energized when I’m creating something meaningful for others, whether that’s writing, cooking for people I care about, spending time listening to others talk about their experiences, or building larger creative projects from the ground up.
